they don't even bother with wheelie bars on sport bike dragsters they just stretch the hell out of them.

go ahead and put a wheelie bar on your otherwise stock zx14, then rev it to 10k and dump the clutch bog and run 11 flat @ 145mph lmao
ive never seen a sport bike that done 100mph in first gear. regardless how is the bike going to bog and go slower with a hard a launch as opposed to slipping the clutch out? thats some retarded *** reasoning johnny. zx14 goes 9.50 stock but if you were to launch it at redline with a wheelie bar and a slick it would go slower? dont be a ------- retard.

you're calling me a retard... seriously.

if you launch a zx14 at redline with a bar and slick. just drop the clutch, it'll bog like a mother ******.

you have no clue what you're talking about. watch a video on how to drag race a sport bike before you called me a retard.

i never said it would be slower with a bar and a slick. but you won't be able to launch it as hard as that destroyer.

the harley has off idle power, the zx14 is all revs

The bike won't bog with a slick and a wheelie bar. Old stock motor kz1000's don't bog when you launch them on a drag chassis with a slick and a wheelie bar with a slider clutch. A newer FI bike with more power is not going to bog off the line. You can put a Busa/zx14 motor in a drag chassis and run high 8's all day long. I've seen it several times at the track. The reason it's not as popular in racing is no one's really gone through those transmissions and made them solid but the high dollar teams. Plus a lot of the old guys who race drag bikes are afraid of FI and really don't need to use it, as they can buy off the shelf big block air cooled motors in the 1400-1500cc range that will run low 8's off spray all day long and last a season and a half.

What logic are you using to reason that a zx14 is going to bog off the line with a wheelie bar and a slick?

kz1000 revs to ~9k and makes its power way further down in the rpm range. thats why

we aren't talking about drag chassis, we're talking about taking a stock zx14 and putting a wheelie bar and slick on it.

you'll still need to slipe the clutch or it will bog like a ****.

Or set up a two step like the rest of the drag industry does.

yea i guess that solves everything. a two step holding the revs before you launch. great

so by your logic all honda cars bog off the line when you launch them on slicks because they only make top end power and not much down low.
