Your project is cool. I just like the lexus and infinity v8s and would like to see more people do HMT style projects with them. Displacement and revs.

eh then you gotta fab everything up, the mounts, trans, driveline etc...
the engine in my camaro revs higher than that, it still uses pushrods and 2 valve heads
plus this bone stock 350 makes more power than that thing. 275hp 350tq

What would you even use for a tranny on those Lexus V8's? I can get one for 150 at my yard. If you can't rock a manual tranny than it ain't worth it. Plus those engines are big as ---- from the last time

$150 is a damn good price. Best price I have seen is $450.
You need an adaptor plate or bellhousing to run standard trans. Most people run w58 supra 5-speed. Big ballers run the 6speed supra. Bellhousings are available for popular domestic trannys.

that looks better. So turn it upside down an stick in a b&m stage 2 shift kit an you will love it...Gonna be down that way this coming weekend for a rally race if you dont feel comfortable i could swing by an drop it in.
