Nice car, there's a blue one of those down the street from me forsale. I really want to pick it up and drop a v8 in it, but I can't take a project like this on right now.
That thing is gonna be sweet when your done, keep up the good work.

Hey Johnny i think its great you got a good deal on that trans but from the pics i think it wasnt. That pic that you have of the trans looks like a 4x4 t-350 cuz there is no tailshaft on the trans an the output shaft is way short.Just my observations dude.

also kinda put together the mounts for the engine, still needs one more hole for where it'll connect to the frame.

i noticed that...
can i still use a regular driveshaft yoke on it?
i know a trans shop could put the other tailshaft on it for some money.
looks like im gunna have to have a shop put a 6" shaft on it. i hope it doesnt cost very much

Yep it is at t-350 out of a 4x4 an no you have to dissassemble the whole transmission to swap out the output shaft.
How about you give me 200 bucks an ill let you have the t-350 an torque converter from the turbo truck. Was gonna use it but ill rebuild this other t-350
It has a stage 2 B&M shift kit in it an also the converter is a 1800 to 2000 stall
got 69.00 in the shift kit a 120.00 in the converter an also another 70.00 for the rebuild kit that i use when i replaced all the steels an clutches.I also did a few mods to the apply pistons to help them apply faster so you would love the shift in that light car. Also you can hold any gear as long as you want not like some ford aod LOL .
Let me know
