dude just run the d16y7 all the ---- from your old motor will bolt right on to it. mianifold and all and has the same power as a a6 but it newer and more reliable

PM6 + OBD1 = Does not compute.

There was Vtec before there was OBD1, young padawan. You can still have the car obd0 and have vtec. Converting to obd1 is probably the best thing you could do though. ;)

but i was speaking of building it with an d16z6 head?

vtec head or non-vtec head? vtec ftw

I'll be using a z6 block, y8 head, vitaras, tt rods. If you have access to a vtak head, then why not? There are some fairly simple things you can do with the y7 block to make the oiling issues a little less of a problem...

yes i was told to use a z6 oil pump that was modified a tad. and since a vtec head i can get i will.

Yeah, I think one of the honda tuning mags they widened the oil passages in the crank but I can't really remember. My memory isn't that fantastic.

if you have a chipped pm6 then you can run turboedit and use the ac relay for your vtec activation, its one wire.
