Re: Curse word Fidanza and thier customer service
$50 really ain't that bad.
Although, I woulda just went with a better brand to begin with. Fortunately my car is too slow to require anything beefy. |

Re: Curse word Fidanza and thier customer service
Well since you guys keep mentioning going with another option, id like some opinoins.Im assuming there is alot more aftermarket options for hondas, but this will be going on a probe gt with a v6.I wouldnt mind changing companies after this is all settled, but what should i look for? I called the tech line and they are going to replace it for free but i have to pay shipping.Ill just throw it up for sale right away and start with something more durable.

Send it back, have them replace it, then ebay it.

Re: Curse word Fidanza and thier customer service
Sounds to me like THEY fucked up. A lightened flywheel should be DESIGNED to take some heat, taking into consideration the thermal expansion of both the aluminum and the steel, so the starter ring doesn't slip.
That's probably a design flaw. I would call them out on it. Stay away from multiple piece flywheels. |
Re: Curse word Fidanza and thier customer service
my buddy had this happen on his competition twin disk. they wouldnt even repair it they made him buy a new flywheel for $250.
be happy with what the offered. |
