iv owned a 86 celica

and a ford ranger
so iv owned 9 hahah never had a ticket or nevr got in an accident ..i just think im a race car driver and break everything then get rid of it
lol i bought my accord for 75 bux and i drove it for 6 months and it was fine till the clutch went then i junked it for 100 ..i made profit for driving it
but a sbc sounds more reasonable for what i want to do ..im going to have to buy a different rear end and have an axel made also but i think im going to try it out

Iīd just like to say that the crx is alive and healthy.
The crash story is just a lost temper in a pt forum....
People in portugal are quite nervous at least...
I was the one that tuned and built the car (and recorded the video) and i only like to say that i would never be able to do it without blundar, xenocron and many others. This is the first of itīs kind here in portugal. It runs 1,45bar boost and the only problem we have besided taction is the ------- thermal tapes burning with heat. Itīs running a bre tuned rom and we havenīt been able to take it to the dyno beacuse everytime we go thee the car jumps on the rollers.
So far i have seen +400hp at the dynoīs screen but as it jumps when decelerating we canīt get an accurate mesure.
We plan to take it to a rotronix dyno to finaly see the hpīs.
As for the nsx itīs not a stock engine, as far as i know it has complete performance intake/exhuast system and made 300hp/30kg trq at the dyno (said by the owner). Next month will bring the second monster project, an eg6 to beat the 500hp barrier (never been made here or even close for an honda).

The car will be in Estoril track on the next drag racing show on the 2nd of july so you can see it there.
Last time we went there the car missed making good numbers at the drag race as noone noticed the intake charge pipe was loose so it was just like an NA engine... bad luck and now the piping from turbo to ic is redone and secured as it should be.
Also we have installed a apexi avc-r unit so that boost is controlled in a good manner.
As soon as i have a dyno plot i post it.

And regarding this crazy posts comparing eu vs us cars you guys have to see that are both completely diferent ways of thinking about cars.
In europe you cross 1 or or 2 countries running 2500km across or so and all the others are much smaller so we donīt need high displacement cars and also we donīt have many long straight roads. So here as distances are short no point on using big cars.
Also we have to pay like 1,2/liter of gas and you pay thre same for 3 .... kind of makes you think....
Even looking at an industrial point of view after 2 world wars that ruined europe completely and us took advantage of that itīs no surprize that we have diferent industrial goals.
Finaly europe all together is comparable to the us by itīs own... +250 milion consumers in us vs the same in europe but using all countries together.
