The spot that arrow is pointing to is where you need to aim. I don't know what kind of hammer you have, but I'm pretty sure my girlfriend could get that balljoint out for you with the directions given in this thread. :l

Now that you have cut it I'm not sure WTF you're going to have to do since it will only come out one way. :l Try a torch next time. :-\

THe idea is to ovulate the female portion of the taper momentarily to get it to release the male taper. It's still possible to remove it... hammer it a couple times, then see if a punch and a hammer blow will pop the remnant of the male taper out.

is this a good deal

FS: OBD-0 LS Motor Swap - Lower Price 07/25
Item Description: OBD-0 LS Motor Swap

Location: Downriver

Price: 875 OBO
-------------

This is an OBD0 LS motor. Comes with complete long block, light weight clutch masters flywheel, exedy street clutch, ls transmission, intermediate shaft, DA mounts, DA Shift linkage, and passenger side axle. I pulled this motor out of my old DA that i had last year. Motor ran perfect when it was pulled. Head is newer and was done by last owner and is very clean inside. Head gasket also replaced when head work was done. New oil pan gasket was installed by myself due to little leak. The timing belt will work, but needs to be changed. I dont have the time to do it, so a New Dayco timing belt is included.

I am willing to deliver this motor as well, provided the buyer isn't more than 2 hours away.

$875 OBO ***No Part Outs***

***Forgot to add that bottom end was rebuilt not too long ago***
Thats pretty important.

Someone needs a good motor. OBO.
