we just had this happen last weekend.

we just put the hose back together and it came out. it took a few times, but just rethread it and then unthread it. if not, you might up ---- creek without a paddle.

is the plug still stuck on it? i just plugged the plug with something and crankled the car a couple of times. it shot out.

another bad thing to do....

don't pull the fuel pump relay or the coil wire, it may take awhile if the plug wires are hanging down the block a ways but believe me there will be fire.

Note to self, drink coffee before advising friend how to do compression test.
