California Penal Code Section 496 states, in pertinent part: "Every person who buys or receives any property that has been stolen or that has been obtained in any manner constituting theft or extortion, knowing the property to be so stolen or obtained, or who conceals, sells, withholds, or aids in concealing, selling, or withholding any property from the owner, knowing the property to be so stolen or obtained, shall be punished by imprisonment in a state prison, or in a county jail for not more than one year." |

id try to find out ---- witout just going and beating this kid, is he shady? known thief? id hate to get beat cause i was selling some stuff i bought and never knew it was stolen, im just saying cause i buy and sell car parts all the time

I'm more worried about labatt getting in trouble than anyone getting caught. He's always seemed plenty levelheaded, even with me throwing a continual barrage of Frenchie comments at him, but having your car stolen twists a man inside.
Don't do anything extreme, bro, unless you are damn sure you can get away with it. |
