We shouldn't be arguing about 2 phase or 3 phase. We should just ask which one of you depends on being an electrician to pay your bills every month..

I see what you're saying and it confuses the ---- out of me. That I can't explain. I know that in order to power a 240v welder you need 2 seperate 120v phases, which doesn't explain why they say they only require a single phase for 240v welders. I don't understand that.........

Never buy ---- like that at Sears or home chepo.You can get a better deal at a welding suply store.I got my 220v Miller 175 for $725 out the door.They have sales just about every month.I did save on the bottle couse I allready had one though.

want to sell or even better DONATE your other bottle? :P i just bought a welder myself and went shoping for bottles and them ******* aren't exactly cheap
