i run agx's and tein s-tech springs on my crx and i love it.it rides nice as ---- and i have the ability to adjust the stiffness depending on what im doing.. i think i might have $500 in it considering i bought it all from e-gay

I don't know if they make a bilstein shock for your car. But I have found they are the best bang for the buck!

Re: budget suspension setups

its a 96 civic sedan

i liked my teins alot but id like a little lower. are those agx's adjustable in ride height? ive heard you can lower your car a little with some struts and it still rides good, like lower then the drop spring is said to go, but i dont know much about this stuff.

id like to spend under $400, but i havent researched much yet.. id like my car low but not as low as it is now where all my fender linings are shredded and i can rest my motor on small 2" speed bumps

agx-kybs shocks and omnipower coilovers. Not too cheap but cheaper than most and ride well.

Really it costs 500 for a good spring/strut combo.I would look for some used coilovers and get a urethane bushing kit.

Ive got KYB GR2s and eGay coil overs. IT work pretty good and was the total cheapness.

Unfortunatly for my car thats about as good as it gets. 1988 Toyota Tercel = no aftermarket

I am looking at hte posibility of making some shortened struts and using short KONI race inserts.

Bilsteins with some H&R or maybe some eibach springs is what I'm gonna be doing.

I have H&R sport springs and Tokico Illumina struts, I love the adjustability, but I always leave the struts on the hardest setting.
