my point is ive been waiting since september for the right flange, he has horrible customer service and just guess's what ---- is, i still dont have my other flange and i would still like a refund since i paid 50 dollars for a 26 dollar flange that was "sent express: with NO express shiping stickers on the box, also how is it illegal ive never claimed anything he just said i had to claim a 16 dollar value on the flanges i sent back to him

As far as the customs and shipping thing. We are constantly asked by folks outside the US to ship as a gift and to use the cheapest rate possible. Everyone wants to avoid the import taxes, and pay the absolute least for shipping. This means using USPS to ship overseas or to Canada and Mexico. We tell them we won't mark shipments as a gift because it is against the law to do so. We're not going to pit ourselves against the US legal system, so our customer can save a few dollars on import taxes.

We also tell them that if we ship via USPS cheapest method, there is no insurance and no tracking. We explain that there is no recourse if the shipment gets lost, etc. They would normally choose it anyway, so a lot of times we would ship it that way. Then when it did get lost, they would always expect us to take care of it and send them a replacement shipment. We would always end up with either a loss of the value of the entire order, or a pissed off customer.

It's really a hard situation to deal with because the customer is upset with us for the results of shipping by the method they forced us to. It's a lot easier to tell them that we only ship outside the US using FedEx, which has international tracking and insurance. It costs a great deal more, but there are a lot fewer hassles. And if a shipment gets lost. FedEx pays for the entire replacement, provided you have marked the value of the shipment accurately.

Seems like "You get what you pay for" applies to shipping as well as products.

cause he could careless, which is the point were im at , every hmt sponser on here has seen 1,000 plus in merchandise, well not all of them but i know i've spent 1,000+ at tuner toys and about 1500+ at lsd, with no problems ... no i spend 50 with blaast and its the biggest ------- hassle i have had so far, i run a import shop with my brother and i know when were boosting cars the one place i wont think of is blaast, ill deal with mike and get some master power turbo's instead
