Fanning the ------- flames.

Let the ---- burn, sooner or later they will feel the heat and figure out the plane is on fire and headding straight back to the ground.

I wish Toyota and Honda would buy the big 3 out. I think Toyota put in a bid on GM some time ago. Maybe then ---- would sell.

I would say nissan there, but I dont care for how they build thier ----. Runs great, till it fucks up, then its a pain in the ass.

GM is doomed no matter how you look at it, I think its funny that people keep talking about product quality/sales like that really matters, General Motors has made most of their money from their financial sector (GMAC) not from their car sales, come on guys why do you think they are suddenly in deep ----?

Its not because their cars suddenly are not selling, its because the financial market is collapsing and they have something like 48 billion in debt that they can't pay back, none of this is new however the morons that were saying "the fundamentals of the economy are strong" just weren't listening.

anyway heres what ron paul thinks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uc1fDjS0YF4

the very fact people don't buy cars helps the industry. but if the big 3 goes down. what about the repair field. will they see the carnage too?

I don't think it would impact the repair side, unless you live in a city where the plant closed shop.

Look at the bright side, most imports are easier to service. Damn, I guess you got me there, We'd make less money because there wouldnt be so much BS to get around to get a job done.

Afterall, Saturn's are about the simplest cars (not SUV's) america has ever produced since the 60's. Look under the hood of a L200. There's room to put 2 or more mexicans in there next to the engine when you take a trip to mexico j/k. Everything else since moving away from the days of common engines has grown into a bitch to service. They need to offer 5 engine designs per conglomerate (like Ford, Lilncoln,Mercury) and work performance levels from them. Say like a 1.8l, 3l, 5l, 8l, and diesel. or a 4cyl block, 6cyl block, 8cyl block, and diesel, all with multiple displacements and interchangable parts. It would save alot of ------- engineering money.
