Default The American dream

.....of being hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt to what I hope to be an appreciating asset is mine. Just got the green light from the bank to find the house I want to buy. Who says you can't buy a house with shitty credit?

The interest rate should be pretty damn good actually. It's an FHA loan for first time home buyers.

No pics of anything yet. Going to look at a house right now......

FHA would be 4.5% fixed but the house has to meet standards and you can't make more than like 76k or something like that. I was mad because when I bought we made too much and couldn't get FHA or CHFA. So we ended up 5.25 fixed.

I'd love to have 4.5%, damn rates today were 6.00 / 6.125%. I sure wish all these fed rate cuts would have some affect on the damn home rates.

Good Job DocBoost!
