Strange thing is you can insure your house for cheaper than you can insure your car. I guess there are alot more car accidents than house accidents.

We've been shopping for appliances. It's crazy how much more expensive black ---- is than white.

i hear that...part of the reason we liked this place is that all the appliances are fairly new so we dont need to pay out the *** for new ---- yet

I live in a townhouse that has an association. Once you get over the fact that you don't have to cut your own lawn, pay for the water, or upkeep the outside of the house, you realize the President of your association is a communist.

I think I would much rather cut my own lawn. Appartments, condos, and townhouses are only good for renting out (a.k.a. real retirement), except when the communist puts a 10% max on rental units in the neighborhood. Rent to own will fix that though.

What is the rate? FHA?

I found out today that I pretty much got fucked out of the house I wanted. We could have bought it if we went to another lender, but CountryWide told us that FHA doesn't loan for foreclosure homes, which is bullshit. It was CW that didn't want to loan to a foreclosure. We could have went someplace else and got the FHA loan for it.

Whatever you do, double check the numbers from any fuckface lender. They're all crooks trying to outcrook each other.

its FHA its between 5.75-6% depending where the rates are at the time. but they said prob 6%.

country wide is going under, our mortgage person wouldn't even go through them. other lenders will lend for foreclosure but the bank has to agree with the price and a bunch of other ----. so its not as easy.

since i got laid off in december, i was making 34.50 an hour there... but it wasn't very steady, i didn't qualify for FHA because i made too much money... but the job i just started this month is very secure but i had to take about a 6/hour pay cut... but i still get about 2400 bi monthly... i got my first check today... i made $953 in three days

i decided to bite the bullet and get a house... should be worth it. my payment will be about 1200 a month including everything, like insurance, taxes, etc...

From what I've been hearing FHA rates SHOULD be around 5.5% right now and if it's any higher you're lender is ------- you over.

<<<<-----getting fucked over by 1%.

I think if I was trying to be crafty right now, I'd get pre-approved for a certain amount, and then go to the courthouse to view the foreclosures going down and try to scoop one of those bitches. Getting a smokin deal on a car part is one thing, but knowing you really kicked someone while they were down and stole their house is a whole new level of ------- smart.
