This one is two floors though and faces the woods, so its about as close to a house as we could get. in fact its bigger than a few houses we looked at (about 1100 sq ft). Its not permanent...I just didnt want to sign another years lease at my apartment basically lol.

Even a condo is better than paying rent though. Condos out here are pretty damn cheap. You can buy a tiny one for about $60-$70k or a nice one on the golf course for around $150k. They have pretty cheap ***. fees out here compared to some that I've seen. 
In San Fran I've seen ***. fees from $300-$400 PER MONTH! WTF?!?! Out here you usually pay like $39/month.

yea i think i basically need the equivalent of renters insurance, ill look into it once i own something worth insuring. Actually i should do that now, appliances cost $$. I have no clue on insurance, i should read up on that ----.
