after one pull my temp gauge goes all the way up to one notch before red, which is like 270 degrees or some ----. its lame as heck
it takes a min to cool back dow, sorta cool if you can call it that (halfway up the gauge)
a couple things could be happening.
1. i could be collapsing one of my radiator hoses at WOT
2. since im running the ribbed side of the belt acrossed the smooth water pump pulley. it could be slipping at WOT
3. my radiator just plain sucks *** and it wont cool the motor when it makes any kind of power.
i wish i could find an old ford truck with a beefy radiator that would bolt in.

In my 64 ford truck i have a 85 ford e-350 van raditor in there. The side bracket was longer but the core size was perfect size.Just my thoughts.Think im gonna take the turbo truck to the 1/8 th mile drags tommorrow see how well it gets out of the hole...Got a couple of different tires to try out also.....
