Re: 60 ft tips
he needs 22x8x13's, 200 whp is about the limit of the 20x8x14's
But then again I don't launch like a -----. Smack the slicks hard at 7500+ rpm with nitrous coming on at WOT, which is about 2 ft out of the hole :) |

Re: 60 ft tips
I was also NOT using a lightweight flywheel, smack them hard, you have to with a lower powered car.
Just like launching a 283 powered 55 shoebox, wind it up and let it loose! |

Re: 60 ft tips
I stage early, pull the e brake, set anti-lag, slowly release clutch, let car inch forward till im staged deep, then put the clutch in a bit more so it wont pull forward anymore.
By that time the ass is on the floor and the car is jerking pretty violently. Release brake and clutch. Go. |
Re: 60 ft tips
I'm not a drag racing expert or anything but in my personal experience, I've found out the faster you get the 60' over with, the better your overall time will be. Like really try and drive the car fast and stuff like imagine someone is behind you and wants to shoot you or something. That usually works for me because I have a fear of being shot point blank in the face. If you are afraid of birds, imagine a bunch of them are right behind you.
