dseries.org sticker on top of a bootleg HMT sticker? I say BANN!!!!

I'm thinking about putting a sealed 10 in my hatchback, but I don't have a fucken clue about what's good, and what's bullshit. I'm not entering any sound competitions, but I'm not rushing to pep boys for kraco amps and subs either.

Working on the backhalf this weekend. I'm really not into big bass myself more of an audiophile but the sq ---- got old. Too uppety in that class and lack of participants. As for the speakers...they cost me nadda! Merlon is a small company trying to get their name out there. Yes they are inexpensive but they are the best bang for the buck imo. In my area and what people want they fit the bill perfect as for price and performance. Sure there are plenty of better, louder, harder hitting subs but like I said, they cost me nothing and in our market area high dollar ---- doesnt sell. I finished last year with enough points to get a World Finals invite and 2 state records for my class. So, we already carried Merlon in the store and thought we would do another demo vehicle.

They are very efficiant subs. I am using just 2 Merlon 3000 amps (1800 watts rms each) and we mic'd it today. No extra batteries yet, 170 amp alternator, virtualy no break in or amp tuning and it burped a 155.4 on our super stiff termlab mic at 54hz. Way over my expectations. My 2 Orion H2 15's on the same amps did a 149 on our mic to give you an idea. No power increase, just 4 more subs and gaining over 6 db is HUGE!

BTW here's your smilies puke away brutha. Just because I got "what every nigganeez" you wanna hate on me :( Ahh well.
