Engine displacement is defined as the total volume of air/fuel mixture an engine can draw in during one complete engine cycle; it is normally stated in cubic centimetres, litres or cubic inches. In a piston engine, this is the volume that is swept as the pistons are moved from top dead centre to bottom dead centre.

So basically a 125cc 2 stroke actually displaces as much air/fuel mixture per minute as a 250cc 4 stroke based on identical RPMs. Comparing completely different engine designs such as 2 stroke vs. 4 stroke on the static measurement of bore X stroke just isn't a fair measurement of equality.

Tell me something, how would you compare a 2 stroke to a 4 stroke than? Are you trying to say since by your magical calculations that a 250cc 2 stroke is pushing the same amout of air a 450cc 4 stroke is pushing that it should be putting out the same power and since it's not 2 strokes suck? ::) :1 You dug deep on that one. :3
