Yah. Even the crippled-ass v5 and v6's do a decent job.

If anybody needs an 802.11b linksys router hit me up. It's a few years old, might be flashable.

Flashable? I have done zero research on it and had to pull it out of the box to look up the version

So what the hell can I do to boost the signal on the free internets I've been using? Is it DD-WRT friendly? I can log onto it, but only over wireless of course. Help me jack that there intarnet!

Its a Netgear WGR614v5

Conflicting reports, mostly associated with reflashing to boost power output. Something about boosting the stock 30mW power to 100 mW, which seems to be 20 mW signal and 80 mW distortion.

Sorry fooker, I don't know anything about netgear routers. You'll have to check www.dd-wrt.com to see if its available for netgear routers.

You try building a cheap signal booster for your networking card's antenna?
