i bet you could even get some tt rods, bearings, pistons, headstuds and still break even over getting a b16 or b18
I'm not looking to build this motor at all.I just want to slap the turbo on as is.I really don't want to have 2 motor projects because it will slow down the process and take both motors a while to get finished.I'm going to just boost this motor and learn from it.More then likely I will not start this until july.It will give me more money, and more time to figure out a good set up.Mainly I need to get 2 99 si fenders if anyone knows anyone in norcal selling some.....no point of putting together a turbo kit if you have no front end

It's defintely worth it and a lot of fun when you spank all those DOHC's. 200whp with a good tune should be no problem. You will eventually want more though. If you can find a good deal on some forged rods/pistons I would do that, then you could put down 300whp without too much other work.

Chances are I will enjoy the turbo and eventually want more.So I'm not going to do anything internal to this motor,I'm going to just boost it stock and learn from it as much as I can.Instead of putting a b series swap together later,I'm going to keep it a d series and keep my eyes open for a a y8 and slowly rebuild it and if anything happens to the y7,I have a backup.I will more then likely start this process in july early aug.
