Also i was planning on putting 2k just for the b18b swap not to build it up. I was also going to put another 2k into the turbo kit. So now that you have heard this what do you think about the Sohc Vtec engine being boosted? I think that is a better choice for me on budget.

 

hmmm well that's another story.
If i had 2K I would be able to build the engine with new forged rod's and pistons and a turbo kit using Ghettodyne.
But not everyone can.
If you can't keep the turbo kit to 1K I would say go with the SOHC VTEC.
It's fun to boost..well everything is fun to boost .
