Default wich turbo will hold psi best for my setup?

okay guys, i am almost ready to install my turbo setup and now have two turbo's to choose from, i have a bb t25 out of an 04' sabb with an a/r of .48 and exhaust of .49, i just did some dealing with a hmt member and now have a bb turbonetics t3 57trim a/r of .63 and exhaust of .60. this turbo setup is going to be going on my d15 setup for d16, i need to know wich turbo will be best to start with? will the t25 be able to hold full boost to redline on my little motor or is it gona crap out?

Id go with the turbonetics T3.The T25 will start to die off around 6500ish rpm.

Two things...

Saab used two turbos for that year for the 9-3 Sports Sedan, both of them have a "T25" bolt pattern on the exhaust housing. Neither turbo is actually a T25.

If the compressor housing says Garrett, it's a GT2052S, which isn't a ball-bearing turbo...

If it doesn't say anything, then you're in luck because you might have a TD04HL-14T, which is WAY better than the Garrett.

Also...Saab turbos are spec'd for fast-spool, high torque. The boost comes on early and strong, so that GT2052S will hit 10 psi about 2,500 RPM. It can do more than that, but you'd need to check the compressor map at the Garrett site to determine when it would be out of its effeciency.

AirResearch denotes the older Garrett units...You can usually cross-ref the model number of the center section to find out the wheel specs, and the A/R is usually right on the casting....

well my turbo does not have any markings, accept for the a/r.48 and .49 exhaust that is stamped in it. not only that it looks alot bigger than your average garret t25 turbo, and its pretty big compared to those eclipse/talon tdo5/t25. i'll see if i can get some pics posted of it.
