Time for a new block. Perhaps this time rebuild one, if even to stock specs, instead of pounding a tired ****** that obviously hasn't had an oil change in 10 years.

 

are you serious? I've put 30,000 miles on it since I bought it, about 6k boosted. I changed the oil every 1800 -2100 miles, Valvoline Full Synthetic.

I knew I should have dug in and worked on the oil pump prior to installing everything. Live and learn

 

That oil looks ------- baked. It looks like my b7 and I change the oil every 10k. I've put 60k on it in 4 or so year, and it looks like that nasty ----.

 

yeah it is about time for a change, 1900 miles alsmost on the dot since the last one.



I think I'm going to ditch the t25 too. Take a minor step up to the 14b.
