Re:Who has a Blockguard?? Are you overheating???
the nuformz blockguard is probably the best however they all suck ***.
first off most ******** just go pop it in there and friggin hit it in with a rubber hammer. it has to be machined the slighest warpage can melt hte head gasket..
impo i think its the head gasket. bitch was probably off or they forget to mill the head a bit. take that ---- apart. i doubt the problem is in the cooling components.
but then again.
i dont know dick now do i lol....
thank the lord for darton!! we luv u man..

Re:Who has a Blockguard?? Are you overheating???
I'm not thinking it is the head gasket. It showed no signs of failure and was still in perfect condition. I am about 2 hours away from tearing the blockguard out. I don't care if it is or isn't the problem. I'm taking that bitch out and if it stops overheating, it was the blockguard. If it still overheats I am going to beat the ---- out of the first person I run into(not really). I'll let you know what happens..........

I've seen two types of block guards. The standard cover the entire coolant passages ones and the wavey ones that allow coolant to flow.. I say dont bother you wont need it running 8psi

how about the Az racing blockguard, they seems to have the best design, because they have a wavy design on the outer edge, and also holes in the top, I got one and I dont't have any related problem yet, even though I've only driven for 15 minutes.

Shitty....ummmm, thanks for being a reliable first hand guinea pig?
Your engine had absolutely 0 cooling problems before, and you started overheating right after the install? Cruising or heavy load?
