What size fitting for my oil feed? Garrett t3 from a single turbo 300zx
I had a ss braided oil feed line fabbed but the 1/8 npt doesn't fit as I thought it should. It's slightly smaller. The stock metal oil feed line and fitting are currently connected to the turbo. Whatever the size, it's just a teenie bit larger in diameter than the 1/8 npt.
Anyone have a clue what size fitting to use? Do some Garretts use a 1/8 bpt by chance? What in the hell could this be?

i had the same problem with mine. so i went to the hardware store and the guy put together this little adapter using the fitting that was on the turbo. put it on the hardline and putting an 1/8" NPT on the other end and i screwed my oil line to that. works like a charm. take the one thats on the turbo now and the oil line and tell him your situation. they can do it for you
Stealth, the hole in the turbo is actually larger in diameter than the 1/8 npt fitting I have. I really wish I knew what size fitting it accepts. It would be much more simple if I could buy an appropriate fitting.
I suppose the majority of Garrett turbos use 1/8 npt but the one I have does not.
This is a big glitch in my setup so if anyone can help in any way I certainly appreciate it.
