Here's the turbo/manifold mounted

Next the wastegate clears the block with about 3/4 of an inch to spare.


THe oil return looks to be higher than the pan. I will have to get rid of the oil return tube and replace it with a flange type return. The down tube on the other hand is pointing too close to the pan. Any suggestions for the down pipe?

 

for the downpipe why don't you just spin the turbo around so the compressor faces the other way, than the o2 housing will be at the angle you want

 

id get rid of the 02 housing and build a custom dp from a flat flange.

 

cut the o2 housing and weld the downpipe right to it, like the setups on HMT front page show.

 

Does anyone know where I can locate a 02 flange(5 bolt)for the IHI RHB5. This would make life allot easier. Thanks.

 

talk to weirracing or bmc race on here, they might have one.

if not i bet you could send that o2 housing to them and they could make one.
