well, i did some research on the mx6 boards ( where I got my BOV from) and apparantly the leak...they describe the exact same problems i am having...leaking after 7 psi...so i think i am gonna spring for a GOOD BOV.

just get a 1g bov from a dsm. and if you bent your arm i think that would make the arm shorter so it take more pressure to open your waste gate. unless you have some how moved the flapper to stay open at all times.then the rush of exhaust gas that normally spins your turbo is now assisting on opening the flapper on the wastegate.

haha, when I put on my first turbo set up, I didn't have any charge piping, so it wouldn't build boost, but I drove around thinking I was the ---- with the cool *** spooling sound it made. Since there wasn't any charge piping, it wouldn't build boost, and would spin forever, and that excess rpms of the turbo let oil past the seals and sprayed the ---- all over the engine bay. I think it was actually jeff who told me why the turbo was spitting oil. Was a long time ago, and you learns something new everyday!
