so, let's say, I disconnect the vacuum line?

What happens? HELLO BOOST!!!! :P There will be nothing stopping the turbo from spooling to the maximum amount it is capable of. So, either the motor will blow or you will have one hell of a ride.

okay, i did that and the boost goes away the moment it hits max boost

You might just have to hold it closed. It might be opening even though there is no pressure. I dunno? That's wierd.

it is weird...i bent the arm if that means anything...it pulls really well until 45000 and then it cuts,

It worked fine before you unhooked it? I can't see why the pressure would drop. What about the BOV?

you know, now that i think about it, it's pretty dangerous.. we should secure that vacuum line to the wastegate or else kaboom, 30psi
