I have a stock DOHC ZC.

I was looking at the t25, but found it would die at around 6500rpm most likely.

Sooooo

I decided to go with a tod5h 14b. It's a bit bigger, should hopefully be at full boost from 3-7300rpm np.

I'm using a T25. It makes the charger pipes a piece of cake, but forget about the a/c there won't be any room.

The T25 does run out of breath up high but you have instant torque down low.

14B off an Eclipse, 15G such as came with the SOHC Civic Greddy kit, or just about any T3.

The 9B off the 3000GT... uh... everyone I talk to wants to use one of those dainty things for a bike turbo. Scarf it up if it's cheap and clean... you can always ebay it off for a huge profit - just remember to use the word "JDM."

lolz jdm.. the one i have my eyes on is off this 91 eclipse i cant tell what it is though. will it work/??i mean hold up to 7k rpm?,.,.. o yea with the ac. we are planing to weld an down pipe to a hf manifold and make a bend like a "j" and mount the turbo slightly diagonal "\".. hopefully we have enough space.... still planing though. we are testing the fit on a spare engine so we are not sure if we'll have a problem with the ac line or radiator hoses...
tell me what yall think?? i live in new orleans.. its too hot here not to have ac!

it will def. not run out of breath up top. there are DSM guys running deep into the 11's with those turbo's. they flow very well and will support a lot of power. if you want your AC that freaking bad, i would just go w/ a fabbed exhaust mani.

i'm using a tdo4L off of an '02wrx on my d16y7 and it holds full boost all the way to redline (8psi now). i also have instataneous boost and it hits 8psi at like 3000rpm. when i get back to the dyno i will be tuning it to 10psi. check it out http://hometown.aol.com/scttydb411/hmtproject.html. i kept my ac by just making an adapter plate that rotated the turbo like 30-35 degrees. turbo compressor on driverside so that it just clears the ac compressor and the downpipe was an easy straight shot to the cat and gives me no problems with oil drain even coming anywhere near it.
good luck.

hey thanks thats an great idea but i'm puttin it into my crx so space might be little limit compared to the newer civic. i like how you did it though very interesting... when i get everything set up i'l post some pix and info on how i did it.. i'm now sure if i can custum a manifold right and kinda sceptic about doing it myself especially when beau( i think) blew up the b16 and he was blaming it more to the manifold. thank guys.. and by anychance does anybody have a complete list of cars with what kind of turbo i have one
http://www.gamesbbs.com/~turbosi/jun...urbo_list.html

but its really incomplete

Between http://www.btnturbo.com/catalog/BTN_Catalogue_2001.pdf and www.geocities.com/ttskipp you can walk on water. If you find a humble diesel turbo shop that resales turbos for a modest markup, you should be able to run with those PNs and get a great deal compared to what most turbo performance shops will do for you.

BTW, the GT-series turbos with the suffix -V are VNT turbos... yup, variable nozzle. Might need to see about raping a newer turbo Audi at the yard, they look... interesting.
