Default what gauge to use for intake plenum???

I'm just starting to build up a turbo set-up for my bike that will most likely not see more than 5-6 psi for the time being (until I can afford to beef up the bottom end). I'm gonna start fabbing up a box style intake plenum out of plate steel since I don't want to pay alot of money on an aluminum box just yet, and I was just wondering what everyone would recommend as thickness of the steel. Obviously I don't want to make it too heavy of a piece and remember it will only see 5-6 psi during it's life and if the set-up all works out (and I don't blow it up first) then I will have a nicer aluminum piece fabbed up.

ive never made an intake plenum before, but i work w/ steel and weld constantly, 16g should be decently light and will definatly be strong enough
