It depends on what size your turbo is. I'm running a T3/T4 at 8psi on D16Z6 with all stock internals, a greddy blue box for fuel management, and a B&M fuel regulator. My car hasn't really shown any problems yet and I beat on it all the time too, but to tell you the truth once it reaches 8psi it doesn't really feel safe. The engine feels like it's at the edge of detonation. Just make sure you are using high octane fuel.
