i found a turbonetics detagate wg for $80 used but its 35mm, ya or nay? im gona be shootin for a 240ish on a ford t3 / ebay cast mani


im still learning about external gates every setup i used till now had internal wg

 

deltagates are good but they lack the seal ring that all other 35/38 gates have.
you better use a good gasket like the turbonetics "fire ring" ones and use high grade bolts/studs with think flat washers because as soon as the bolts loosen, gasket will blow and you'll have a major boost leak. people tget rid of them mainly for that reason.
If it's used, machine the flange flat on the manif and wastegate prior to install and you'll be fine.
i think i prefer a use deltagate to the chinese ones. It has a nice vintage looks!

Buy the ***** brand wastegate... I bought a used deltagate and had to replace the gasket and took a couple of days to source one locally...
