i usually drive around and the internal wastegate opens at 11 psi and keeps it there and recently(a few hours ago). i was pushin it, i go to look at the boost gauge and i was way beyond 11psi i was pushin 15 psi and rising. well anyways my question is how do i check if my wastegate is stuck open. heres a pic. i ask because this isnt a convensional saab, mitsu, volvo, etc. turbo, its a odd wastegate.

 

opps i mean stuck closed. i hooked up the brass nipple on the compressor housing and to the wastegate. yes single line

 

no "signal line" not single line, if the line is hooked up then put a piece of vacume line on the wastegate and suck if it dosn't hold vacume then the diaphram is ****'d.

 

i dont know about internal wastegates, but i know on my tial, i had the vaccume line on the top which made it stay closed and cause me to overboost, then i put it on the side nipple and it works perfectly. maybe there is another nipple for your internal or something?? just a thought...
