if my turbo has a internal wastegate but i have a manifold and a external wastegate can i just use the external one do i have to do anything to the internal one thanks

 

You could use the external. Do one of two things.

1.) get a block off plate made up. Basically it's a flange w/o a hole for the wastegate.
2.) weld the flapper door shut

And of course you'll should remove the internal wastegate from the turbo, but that's a no brainer.

...or you could get a block off plate for the external wg and just run the internal. either way works, but i'd go with external. just my preference.
