Default wastegate acuater soilnoid

i have a 95 eclipse gst i am putting a mbc on it tomorrow i heard u have to take the solinoid thingy all the way off or u can't turn up the boost because that solinoid sets the ecu to like 8psi and with it it won't go no higher my dad has a 93 talon tsi his was right beside the air box but i didn't see mine there could u tell me where it is located at thanks

If I'm understanding you(I doubt it)it sounds like you said take the actuator off, right? That can't be right. If you take the actuator off, nothing will control the boost and you would have nothing to connect the MBC to.

NO, he means take the solinoid off, not the actuator.. Yes, you have to bypass the solinoid or just take it off the car on GS-Ts..

I put a MBC on one and the boost wouldn't got about 12psi still, so we were stumped for like 5hours, then my friends ricery girlfriend said, "you need to put a BOV on that thing" and we all looked at each other and slapped are selfs in the head... put my friends blitz BOV on it and it went straight to 22psi !!! So we turned it down to 16psi..

Stupid plastic DSM BOVs.... Its like insurance against wastegate faulure from the factory...
