Default twin turbo 5.0 question

I want to TT my 5.0 mustang with about 12psi.
Should I use 2 tdo5h's- one for each side?
This setup would be for road racing, not drag racing.

If I had that crazy idea I would use 2 t3/4s.

That's what I was thinking, but he wants to use it for road racing and not drag. The spool time would kill him and the violent top end would toss him all around.

2 T3/T4 wouldn't give him lag though if he gets 2 adequite sized T3/T4's it's a 5.0 V8 so it will push more exhaust frome either side alone compared to our puny 1.6 4-bangers and we a re using a T3/T4 on ours.
2 Td05h's uhmmm I don't know man ... It's on the small side though they would spool really quick though, but if you get a straith on the road coarse you would get pissed...

True, but I don't think he is looking for gigantic power gains at high rpm. I would think he is looking for a super fast spooling setup since he isn't going for the fastest 1/4 mile time.

i have a turbo 5.0, it was in my old rx-7 , ripped up my differential and killed my t-5 tranny like a million times.

has all the info you would ever need.

My bone stock 5.0 hatchback ( had a few bolt ons ) had drag radials and a cobra clutch and broke 3 T-5 trannies in almost 8 months.

T-5 = no good, look into a T-56 from a 93-97 f-body camaro, I've heard the LS-1 T-56 isn't near a good.

My vote goes to (2) .60/.48 turbos off an automatic Turbo T-bird.

Or if he's willing to buy "custom" T3 turbos ( $600ish a piece ) I'd say 50-trim T3 with .48 exhuast side.
