holy ----, this is the first time I've actually looked into megasquirt, it looks ****.

I love DIY ----.. anyone here actually running it? I'm thinking this might be an easy way to TT one of the v8s versus ------- with carb setup.. all about efficiency.

I am new here but have been reading your site for a long time now. I just got finished doing the megasquirt on my B16 crx w/ the ITB's. The squirt is truly amaizing. I gathered the different sensors for about a week and put it in my honda. It took a saturday to get everything wired and connected. then by the end of sunday it was about 95% tuned and perfect. When i put on the suzuki itb's my hondata reburn was wrong so i had to do something. right now the only problem is my tach lead off the dizzy is running my autometer and the megasquirt and sparatically the signal dies going to the ecu and and the fuel shuts off. once i fix that gremlin it will be 100%. I did all the tuning driving around the city with an Innovative Wideband, laptop and alot of hours. So basically the honda pr3 is running the spark and vtec and the MS is running the subaru wrx injectors.

Welcome to the site scottw39.

Nice to see someone that has first hand megasquirt experience. What sensors did you use? GM style ones?

I'm definately going to use UltraMegaSquirt whenever it gets released, I need wideband support and sequential fuel injection.. still have to figure out how I'm going to hook spark up.

Anyways, stick around the website and let us know if you need questions answered.

i had an afc and he researched and found out it wouldn't work so he's looking into getting a preprogrammed chip....i know it'll probably be gay but he's already been taking it in the butt. i'll try to talk him into megasquirt.

yeah i did use gm water and air temp. my o2 is from a neon because it is a four wire and i had a bunch laying around. I will be going with the UltraMS when it is available...i just couldn't wait anylonger and once classes start up again, my time and money become quite limited. I have my junkyard turbo setup sitting in the garage waiting to be put on...i just needed to tune the throttle bodies and fuel first. there are a few pics here www.ncs-stl.com/crx/ but this is a little off topic.

damn, that's a clean looking rex.. not rice at all. I disagree with your choice of muffler, but whatever works.

Why don't you start a new thread and post up a bunch of pics of your ride and we can talk about the megasquirt fuel management within it, I think we've -----d up this guy's thread long enough
