SO I just installed my SSAC t04e turbo, ****** is way big and my filter no longer even comes close to fitting. So Im stuck with a large 3" diameter hole that is fairly close to the ground in the fairly dusty town that I live in

What are the best things that I could use?

BTW- I ------- LOVE the way it howls with no filter, wow does that ever sound amazing

 

get 3 inch piping, buy a 3 inch cone filer, make intake, your done

 

Pantyhose with a large hose clamp?

 

I cant make a intake pipe, there is less than a 1" gap on the front side of the turbo to the body

Im pretty sure panty hose would get torn or sucked in

 

Ive seen ppl use mesh screening for windows and such. (the soft black rubber kind)

get a peice of metal screen and a hose clamp, rig that ---- up and your done. :1

Does the mesh screen really stop enough ---- though? Not inflict flow to much?

 

---- all that ...get a metal screen put some peanut butter in the center and roll up some panty hose and stick it in the middle with a clamp
