Hello everyone, i been reading a lot on this board lately. I'm piecing together my own kit and so far I have everything minus the turbo, manifold and dp. Im not sure which turbo I should pick for a daily driven d16z6 with a 250whp goal. I want full boost at around 3k and I don't want a turbo to choke at redline either. I'm open to suggestions from everyone. thanks

 

no one is happy with 250whp.. shoot higher

 

i've got a hitachi 13s that'll land you there

 

the big 16g turbo from mitsu is perfect. they even sell a knockoff on ebay with manifold for the d sereis. i have one on mine and its held strong and gets the job done.

 

250whp for now but with room to grow later on. I was also looking at a t3/t4 57 trim. If i recall correctly, that's good 400hp provided if i build the block.

 

my turbo has dyno'd at 300hp

 

Go with the t3/t4 the difference will be massive.
