Default buying used pistons

is it okay to run used forged pistons wtih scarring to the skirts??

lol scaring on the skirts. Make sure you ask how lean they ran the motor to get it that way. Guarntee pistons are out of shape. Seen two sets of pistons both cp pistons scaring on skirts had about 1mm of slap. 1 set was in h22 ran 30psi with enough fuel to run 10psi.

don't do it.. just keep searching classifieds.. I got my set of wiseco pistons for $200 brand new in the box from classifieds

I would run free pistons with scarring to the skirts IF and ONLY IF the ring lands weren't slopped the ---- out.

Double posting just to make sure you understand I said FREE pistons, and you need to understand it's an engine I'd run at the streetraces to make money, not care if or expect it to last 1000 miles.
