yah you only really need a pump when using the FMU, AFC and TE dont need a new pump until you start getting into serious HP #'s

Get a fuel pump. Trust me, using your DX fuel pump is fine with a stock DX Civic. Using your DX fuel pump with 450CC injectors under boost is NOT fine. Your pump is not big enough to flow the volume that injectors require. They will taper fuel flow at higher RPM's, which we all know is bad. Lack of fuel make motor go boom. On my 93 LS Integra I was using Prelude 345CC injectors and had to get a 340lph fuel pump just so I could run 8psi safely. Don't skimp on fuel. Pumps are easy to install and are not that expensive. And you'll definatly notice a difference.

I dont trust AFC b/c its manipulating the ECU rather than actually "reprogramming it". So i think w/ an AFC and 8psi+ you should run a fuel pump.....mainly b/c most people with AFCs are willing to plug in very generic settings and probably will run rich and push the fuel pump harder so i always suggest a new fuel pump

With TE/Uberdata you are saying exactly how much fuel you want in the units the ECU uses so its more exacting thus the reason you dont necessarily need a fuel pump.

But you are all correct in saying that with AFC you dont need a fuel pump. I just think its a good idea with an AFC...
