Didnt see anything about a new fuel pump. Definetly a must

i like that intercooler. it looks tiny, yet very effective!!!

a new fuel pump a must? i've never heard anything about this..my boosted friends never have a problem with the stock DX fuel pump
|
Re:Turbo civic v1.0... Phase 2 begins (pics)
stock fuel pump is fine w/ TE. its only a must w/ AFC or an FMU.....
Nice stuff, say bye bye to your bumper support |
Re:Turbo civic v1.0... Phase 2 begins (pics)
can you explain this to me bigwig.. why a TE tuned ECU doesnt need a fuel pump but an AFC hack does?
the ECU ROM basically does what the AFC does, only its coded into a chip instead of in the AFC unit. they are still controlling 450cc injectors and delivering the same amount of fuel... |
Re:Turbo civic v1.0... Phase 2 begins (pics)
.. actually, I dont get it wy you need to replace stock pump even for AFC? I mean... you don't push any more pressure to injectors.. and even 440's wont use so much gas that standard pump would fail?!
|
Re:Turbo civic v1.0... Phase 2 begins (pics)
Bigwig is mistaken, you don't need a fuel pump. Maybe it's one of those "it'd be better issues" but you don't "need" it.
