Default Turbo or B Series Swap questions/ D series Q's

I've read on the forum for a while now and i picked up another Civic HB, a 93. It's a CX so i want to either do a B series swap or get a new D block and go turbo. Now i'm look to spend around $2000 to at most $2500, I could get a B16a2 swap for near that price. I also think that I might be better off gettin a D16z6, JDM D15b Vtec, or a D block and going turbo. I've done a few swaps and know my stuff pretty good and have complete access to my uncles Shop, which has a pipe bender in it. Which D block is the best for boost and why ? I don't know if VTEC makes boost a little more complicated or not for fuel and igintion. I would probally use Uberdata, due to the cost and the user friendly way it was made. I would also probally get a wideband so i can tune it nice. Now at like 7 or so psi can i tune it myself with a wideband and have it realible without a full rebuild or would i be better off to get SCAT rods, new rings, bearings and some type of forged piston right from the get go or not? Also can i take and do everything reliable for $200o or so ? I think a turbo kit ot build should be around $1000, motor like $350 or so depending on what D-block is the best for turbo, get a ex/si tranny and what not should put me around 2k ? So go with the reliable B swap or have fun and do a turbo d series ?

Boost the D. Swap a Z6 head on the CX block, swap an EX tranny and boost it. At 7psi you don't need any fancy rods or pistons. Leave it stock for now until you decide to up the boost, which won't be long.

At what boost level would you suggest to upgrade to forged internals ? Also could one tune good themselves with a Wideband using Uber ? Anyone's thoughts on a the reiable side to things ?

I wouldnt push it too far over 10lbs on stock internals or a decent fuel management setup.

D16Z6 Turbo ::thumbup::

With a good tune around 200whp will be pretty reliable daily driven and you can turn the boost up when at the track/racing.

With a wideband and after i got to know Uberdata, could a good tune be accomplished myself. I've never really messed up turbo setups too much, but I know whats going on. Just trying to see if i really need to get on a dyno or not. I don't think any shops have a dyno or even someone that knows how to tune a turbo Honda.
