I got a turbo made by garrett, it has a .70 a/r compressor housing(cold side) and the exhaust housing is exactly the same as t3 except on the t3 downpipe flange, 4 out of 5 of the bolts line up. The 5th one is like 1/2" out. Anyone know what kind of turbo this is?

Is it...T3 super 70? T3/T4?

Is the .70 compressor better than than more common .60 or .63 that most t3/t4's have?

 

I'm just guessing, but it sounds like that turbo might be a little big for a B-series, and way too big for a D-series. If I'm understanding how all this crap works...

 

It works just fine. It's the Cold side that has an a/r of .70
