Default tranny question

aright, now i'm not entirely positive on how boost affects a tranny, i know how they work and all but i'm not sure on the pressures boost put on it. my question is this, my f22 tranny is built for a 130hp/139lbft engine, now the prelude h22 engine is built for 190hp/160ish ftlb. now would that tranny be better off handling 220hp230lb ft boost than the f22 tranny? my thoughts were, its built for more hp/tq, so it should handle it better. but my question was, does boosting your engine create a more severe pressure on the tranny when its engaging other than the regular hp/tq does. would it be beneficial to swap an h22 tranny or since honda trannys are weak, is that going to bust on me as well like the f22 tranny will? i've tried finding stuff on this, so far i havent found out, i know h22 tranny swaps easily, but nothing about the situation i'm currently in. thanks.

h22 tranny gears are short as hell. acceleration will be quicker but top end is gonna suck ***. the f22 tranny will be fine, just upgrade clutch.

oh ---- ur talking about an auto

the most u can do is get a tranny cooler and a better torque converter
hopefully ur tranny is made to change gears smoothly unlike the b18a auto trannies
get some of that lucas additive also and change ur fluid

ravage, you talking about the lucas semi synth atf or the lucas transmission fix...or can they both be used together? looks like some good stuff i'll definitely look into that. any reccomendations on a tq converter upgrade? i've looked around and find them hard to come by for my accord. also, oil coolers are usually whats used for tranny coolers right? thats what i've read anyways. thanks for the lucas tip
