So i have been doing research and i have come across either uberdata or megasquirt.... With megasquirt do i have to chip my ecu, or does it just replace it(stock ecu)?

My walbro is an intank...I have been reading alot more now into uberdata and it is seeming like the way i should go. On that note, anyone know someone the can chip my P06? I think teg isn't doing it anymore, so i dont know who else can do it for me(i dont trust my soldering skills on that small of a scale). Thanks for all your help guys!
