ls/vtec or b16
my oil line broke and i fucked my bearings i have a b17 [with the fucked bearings] and a b18a here to so i could do a ls/tec or i could buy a b16 short block from a friend cheap.which is the best way to go thanks.i have a t3 turbo set at 10 psi too

ls/vtec would give more torque, but with the b16 bottom end with the b17 head, that would allow higher revs since the b16 bottom end is built for that 8200 redline, if you have the money i would do the ls/vtec and have the bottom end balanced, if not, do the b16 bottom end and be done with it

i have a ls/vtec soon to be boosted, i have to put some ls pistons in it, with b16 pistons 11-5-1 cp i dont think it would like a turbo lol, it will bring it donw to like 9-5-1. id go ls/vtec turbo, u dont need high reving with boost unless u have a big turbo, im using a t3/t04b, but if u build ur bottom end and make it rev high like me then u will be cool, i rev to 8k all day long. thats all i need, so ls/vtec and send me ur b17 block, ill hook u up with some b seriesd turbo ---- for it, i make manifolds and ----. so ya i want a b17 block. i have a 2nd gen teg. -blake
