Default timing retard on mini me turbo

I have the afc hack with 450s t-25 at 8psi and MSD 6a on a a6 block and Y8 head. when I did the head swap I went and got it tuned at a local shop and they retarded the timing almost as for as possible at the dist. once I went turbo I moved it all the way back. which only retarded it like 2 more deg since before turbo. should I get a btm or msd step retard? or should I bore out the holes a little on the dizzy and turn it back a few more deg? any help is appreciated. --Aaron

I was at about 6 deg when I was NA with the Y8 head, I ret it to 4 deg once I turboed. I also did a comression check and I was around 200, I had a stackable head gasket so I lowerd the compression and Im bringing it in to get it tuned tomorrow. So Ill see how that goes and give an update. As for the BTM, Instead of buying one Id rather ditch the AFC2 and get TE and do what the engine wants with the timing.
